40 years ago today, on January 22, 1973, Roe v. Wade quietly changed the landscape of our nation. A 7-2 decision by the Supreme Court has resulted in an estimated 54,559,615 million abortions based on findings from the Guttmacher Institute (a pro-choice research facility). The National Right to Life Committee (the oldest and largest pro-life organization) produced the United States Data and Trends, which sights the above statistic and much more.
